Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II Astral Silver

The Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evolution II in Astral Silver is an ultra-rare, high-performance homologation special from 1990, built to qualify Mercedes for DTM racing. Only 502 Evo IIs were ever made, and just two original examples left the factory in Astral Silver, making this colour version exceptionally collectible.

This iconic compact sports sedan features a Cosworth-tuned 2.5-liter 16-valve inline-four engine with AMG PowerPack, producing around 230+ hp, paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Its aggressively styled widebody aero kit—including a large adjustable rear wing, rear window spoiler, and flared arches—was wind-tunnel designed for improved performance and downforce.

Today the 190E Evo II is one of the most revered classic Mercedes models among enthusiasts and collectors, especially in rare colours like Astral Silver.
